Coils showing as low resistance.

I've built 6 coils now with flat wire I bought for a change. Every time they're coming up saying the resistance is too low. This is wire I'm using and how I built them. Can anyone see what I've done wrong?

It's not ribbon wire on steam engine it's round wire flattened so change the setting back to round wire and take it from there [emoji5]

I use Flatwire NI-FLAT N80 24g, which I would assume is the same thing.

Just use the 24g roundwire setting. I usually use 7 / 8 wraps to get around 0.5 ohms per coil.

But what you might be having trouble with is that NI80 can read low until it has been properly bedded in - glowed, strummed, squeezed until it glows evenly from the centre outwards.

Try bedding in each coil separately before installing them together.

Cheers, I'll give bot of them a go. Decided to try out the juggernaut wire I got but I've got a few others needing changed.
