Hi All,

I was making a batch of juice last night and it dawned on me that all the juice I have ever had ranges from clear to yellow/orange/brown. I have had a look around online and can see that there are in fact a vast range of colours in eliquid.

The question is when DIYing can you use food colouring? Should you? Effects? My interest in this is only visual but would want to be sure it isn't doing bad things to me or my kit.

Thanks all.

You could and some vendors do, but the question of should you? Probably not, I'll take as little artificial shit as I can.

Food colouring is a chemical, as is the flavouring, PG, VG and nicotine you use in your DIY. None of these chemicals are designed to be heated and inhaled into your lungs, so its personal choice whether you wish to use colouring.

Thanks @oneeyedbob. That was kind of my thinking although I believe there are natural colourings but yes, I know what you mean about artificial crap.

It's all for looks,

All my recipes were the same as you describe.

I made a flavour for my mate to try he said it was ok,
I then added a drop of pink food colouring in the mix another day and said try this one and now wants it all the time.

It's mad what colours do i never changed the mix at all but because it was a bright colour it seemed more appealing
