Hi, been reading and reading some of the newbie(hi fellow newbies) threads and 1 quetion i am finding the same answer to is, there is no perfect setup, which is kind of bemusing but hopefully a reccomendation can be forthcoming.

I started the vape tour about 4 weeks ago with a reccomended product of the jacvapor vip ppc starter kit.

Must admit i hold high regards for jacvapor, the kit was perfect and easy to use as anew vaper, hwever over the last 2 days i have just not found it to be satisfying.

I dont know why but i just dont get a satisfying draw, very little throat hit, sometimes "airy" poor vapor and a total lack of any flavor, i have stuck with the same 2 or 3 flavors for the last week so know its not the liquid i also seem to want to constantly vape as tho i am needing a hit. Thats where my questions start to come in.
If i had to make an uneducated guess i would say it was the cartomiser failing, tried several now with little difference and i am informed they are good for 10 refills, thoughts moved towards the battery but that seems to be charging as normal and lasting about the recccomended time. Then i wonder if its just me, over the last couple of weeks i have noticed i am able to hit the 6 second battery cutoff easily whereas before i could barely manage 3 seconds (yay for improved health), so what is going on?

I also now find myself drawn towards more heavy user products such as the VGO2 crystal kit again from jacvapor, unfrotunately its out of stock for some time. Can someone reccomend a product similar? My only real "demand" is large battery 400mah+ and a crystal container, or minimum a way to actually see how much fluid is left in the device i find it very frustrating not knowing how much is left in the cart when it should be topped up etc but shopping around i am extremely confused by everything, different battery threads, atomisers, cartomisers this-a-thiser, thata-thiser, dual coil, dual wick. My priority would be vapor amount over flavor, so maybe a VV device would be suitable? Has anyone tried the ROKstar? that kit looks impressive, but is it all flash no vape?

P.s
Just been looking through the market place and http://marketplace.planetofthevapes.co.uk/Ecigarettes/Ecig-Kits/Vision-Crystal-Mini-Kit caught my eye, but for what you are getting it seems cheap? anyway thats the style of product i think i am looking for now.

Check out their VV kit, I can't remember the name of it but it's on the site, igetcha69 has a good review of it on youtube.
I have a lot of love for jacvapour

Stupid suggestion but have to flooded the carto. I started with jacvapor and over filing made it tight and no vapour. Rry taking the end cap off and blowing it into some kitchen roll. Jacvapor carts are pretty much the best ive ever used and even after five months rinsing them out with hot water they still perform well for my at work stealth vape setup

and make sure the little air holes on the battery are clear of gunk

I use VGO2 every day and not let me down yet. Got one of their VV batteries aswell and a few of their tanks. Have you considered the 650 battery? It's still pretty small compared to the 400 and lasts a long time.

I have tried cleaning the heads of the carts and battery connections also followed their video on cleaning the air holes etc, it is possible i have over filled a couple, being new i have most likely made some newb mistakes but i always follow their instructions and place a needle down the side filling that way then leaving 10mins and finally give a steady blow through afetrwards but filling them is probably the bit thats annoying me most and looking towards crystal/clearomiser tanks so i can see exactly how much is left when to top up etc.

I have mostly used pure VG fluids so far, could this of degraded them quicker? And xGaryx, you mention cleaning with hot water, i am reading conflicted information about cleaning them out, is rinsing them advised? do you submerge them completely to soak them or just run hot water through them?

I am VERY interested in jacvapors VV kit or crystal mini this is also out of stock, their website is stating that customs have it and expect it to be released anyday now, been saying that for 3 weeks which i was hoping for an alternative but the more i research and read the more i am getting confused by it all.

I just run them under a hot tap for five or ten mins then leave to dry for a couple of days. I have read some saying you shouldnt do it but ive never had a problem

I think personally if you really enjoy vaping then its worth thinking about just going for the thing you really want rather than buying loads of cheaper bits and bobs. After my jacvapor I wished id have gone straight to the vamo rather than spend loads of money on gradually getring better gear.

the vamo! thats a serious piece of kit, quite scary looking :D
Just been perusing the marketplace and "eGo" is a very common, brand? i am guessing you are an experienced vapor, is there really much difference between vision, ce4, ce5 and ce5+ or deluxe, they all seem pretty much the same and from what i am starting to understand is its the atomiser/clearomiser that produces the vapor and is what counts where i am reading the kanger seems to be the favorite.

Sorry to be such a pain, but all this talk of changeable atomisers coils wicks etc is daunting, how difficult is it to keep on top of everything? how often do the parts need replacing? I do want to try and find a kit straight away that is going to support my vaping without having to keep changing as you suggest

Lol im still a noob myself. Ive only just gone on to a vivi nova from months of using cartos. The advice I can give you is things appear and sound more daunting than they actually are and when you throw yourself in most stuff is pretty straight forward.

Not a pain at all honestly, there's loads of people on here who are happy to share their experiences and offer advice. We all started somewhere.
Garys advice is sound.
All I would add is yes the ego is popular and jacvapours VGO is the same essentially, it just uses different threads.
I stuck with jac as they were my first and I've had no problems whatsoever, I've bought other stuff that I just use at home (Provari) but for everyday out and about use VGO2 (or ego equivalent) is great.
I would definitely recommend tanks (or clearomizers) over cartos as you can see how much liquid you're using and they hold more.
As far as maintenance goes, I've got 2 months out of a jac tank just washing in warm water and drying out every now and then. The estimates are conservative on a lot of stuff and can last a lot longer with simple maintenance.
I never bother washing out cartos but some do and it works for them.
I now use the "rebuidable" jac tanks as it works out cheaper. Trust me it's so simple anyone can do it, what I mean is they're not "rebuidable" in an advanced user way.
If I were you I'd hang on for a VGO2 kit (but with tanks not cartos) as they've been so reliable for me but I'm sure you'd do great getting an ego kit aswell (don't know which one but someone will be able to recommend).
Personally I tried kangers and vivi novas and hated them (leaking, flooding, muted flavour) but others love em so...
Ask as many questions as you need, it's a friendly forum.
You could email jacvapour to check when they're getting stock in, very helpful and friendly people.

Thankyou cohibacohiba i do really want to hang on for the vgo2, or vv vgo and plan to invest in one of the crystal tanks or rebuildables to go with it especially as both yourself and gary have eased concerns over how difficult these rebuildables are, many things in diy always seem more complicated than they really are and its not until you find someone to advise you or just give it a go that it becomes alot clearer unfortunately i just dont have the £50 a week spare to keep buying and trying all these different kits, i know i am probably dreaming to find the perfect solution straight out the box but if i can atleast get the basics nailed down thats cost immediately cut down.

On the topic of cost, i have been in touch with jac about their products and they state that all their products use a kr808 thread, this is the 1st and only time i have heard of kr808, is this limited to them as nealry every other product seems to mention either 510 or eGo. If i plan to shop around for different mods and clearomisers this could become a problem, altho jacs do a adapter thats yet another item being attached impairs performance and is less practical.
