It was bought to look at and tinker with to see if it'd do a job as an out and about mod where I wouldn't care about it if it got damaged. It won't.
It's advertised on Angelfire Mods as being a 22mm Heimdall Copper Clone. It isn't.
It's not 22mm, it's more like 21.5mm.
It's advertised as having engravings only on the 350 and 650 tubes. It hasn't, there is a slight mark on the 500 tube that I did to find out if it was copper plated or pure copper. It's pure copper.
It's advertised as having silver plated copper pins. I suspected that either the coating process (which had left a rippled surface on both) or the fact that it was chrome plating was restricting its performance. The "silver" has almost come off the 510 connection after swapping some attys over in the space of an afternoon. The bottom pin has the copper exposed.
I'm doing a great sell job here.
