Creating front plate for mod

Hi All Mod Makers,

I'm looking into doing my first box mod but I'm a little curious how other mod makers create the front plate for the mods. Please could you help by giving any tips/tricks that there might be and what the best material is to use.

I make mine on the cnc. Best material to have a go at your first one is 1.5 or 2mm ally
