Have any of you used cupcake world flavour concentrates? If seen them mentioned a couple of times on POTV but didn't know if they were safe. They say due to eu law they can't say they are safe, but like I said I've seen them mentioned on here before.

Also, it states the main ingredient of most is monopropylene glycol. What is it and is it safe?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I have indeed tried a good few of them. Monopropylene glycol is PG I think... can't be bothered to look it up now.

Some of them have oil in them, not many though. I've tried their pineapple, apple sours, passionfruit, lime and vanilla custard. All are fantastic.

Cool. Thanks for the advice. Is the oil a problem? Should I not use the ones with oil? And what percentages do you mix them at? Obviously I may not like the same but would like some starting points. Most of my mixes now have between 15 and 25 percent flavour dependant on recipe and what concentrates on using.

yes they are safe .... IF it says so.... cupcake worls specifically list if suited to ecigs and even have a section on there website about them.

in fact. this from Alison at Cupcake world

Hi

Yes they are OK if you go to the main listing of the 'choose any' bottles at
the end of the list of 300 flavours there is a list of the oil based
flavourings which cannot be used for vaping, cheers

so essentially pretty much all the flavours are fine and the ones that arent they say so

percentages vary hugely dependong on the flavour. anise for example i would use no more than say 5%. fruits and desserts as much as 20%+. though some fruits like pineapple as little as 2% as its very strong.

really its down to research and experimentation as theres no set answer

Cheers mate, thanks for advice. Il grab a few bottles as they seem dirt cheap for the size and have seen people recommend their vanilla custard.

I mixed the vanilla custard at 20%, others are always used in another mix. The custard is great on it's own though.
