It's as easy as you want to make it! Have a look at e-Liquid Calculator :: New recipe, other mixing calculators are available!

Need some pg, some vg, nic, and flavours. Additionally some empty bottles, syringes and labels. Good to go.

Personally speaking, I would say chefs vapours concentrates (of their own juices) or t-juice (red astaire?) are the perfect place to start. You will have juices as good as the premixed, at the vg/pg ratio of your choice.

Then..... Go wild! There are so many concentrates out there, either try your own concoctions or hunt out recipes that others have posted. I say go for it!

It's easy buddy.. You could likely work it out with an IQ of 10 :)

You have four main ingredients:
PG (Propylene glycol)
VG (Vegetable glycerin)
Concentrated nicotine
Flavourings

That's it..

Download an app like EjuiceMeUp for pc or POTV Ejuice calc for Android and iPhone?

And have a play about with them.. Input the concentrated nicotine strength, the end strength you want, the amount of juice you're making, pg/vg ratio (50/50 is a good choice for most) and the percentage of flavouring (start low, even just a couple of percent for some).. You'll find loads of starting point percentages for most flavours online...

Good luck buddy.. It's unlikely you'll regret giving it a go.

Waiting on my kit and seperate concentrate order from justvape247 to arrive in the post. This will be my first diy attempt so im not imagining great things but i recon ill be able to make some of the clone recipes till i figure out how to make my own stuff. One thing id say is make sure you research what clone recipes/flavours you want to make and then order your concentrates, otherwize youll end up with a load of concentrates that dont mix.

Most problems seems to be with the maths, and some people even struggle to use the calculators.

The scariest thing is that you can get carried away with buying stuff and end up with 5 years supply of concentrates of which you'll only ever use 10%.

Of that 10%, half will go down the sink with nicotine in it.

So just be sensible - buy PG, VG and nicotine in litre bottles, start off with a few concentrates and make small test samples. Gradually build up a portfolio of stuff you really like, and when you've found some favs, buy in 100ml bottles.

I've eliminated PG from my shopping list by buying nicotine and concentrates in 100% PG and adding only VG to the mix so it comes out at about 70/30. It doesn't save anything, but it's one less ingredient to think about.

Guna order a load of glass bottles, am i right in think if left in plastic too long it will taint the flavour? Since nic will degrade the plastic slowly

Almost certainly. I've got all but my carry-arounds in glass now. I keep all my jam jars for making juice, the big surface area must improve steeping.

I'm convinced juice tastes better if stored in glass.. I keep all my repeat mixes in glass and have small amounts in plastic to carry around.. Although I'm thinking of swapping those for glass with these tops for dripping

I may be nuts but I'm convinced of it.
