Just thought I would share a warning about the 'Customer Service' I received from Date Vape UK.
I month or so back I decided to invest in a Tesla Nano Mod (the steampunk version) and for the first couple of weeks, all was A-OK.
After this period, I noticed that the fire button did not seem to be functioning as expected (sometimes it failed to register that it was being pressed) and also, when re-coiling the tank (Squape X), upon pressing the fire button the first time, the mod seemed to either not register what resistance the coil was or possibly keep firing as the coil would glow bright read in a second or so, then would burn out and snap.
This did not happen occasionally, it happened each and every time I recoiled the tank and was using that Mod (same thing does not happen when re-coiling on my other mods).
So, I did what any purchaser would do, I contacted the retailer to explain my issues and explained everything in detail.
First response back - "Oh, never heard of that before, I don't know what to suggest".
So I said, it's clearly developed a fault and what options do I have for getting a replacement.
Response back was "Erm...well, you will need to deal with the manufacturer as you should have registered the device & warranty with them when you purchased it".
I then checked on the Tesla site and there is no option to register a device, only the option to check if the product is genuine via the scratch sticker (it is a genuine product by the way).
I told him this and all he said was "it's something you have to sort out with the manufacturer, have you tried contacting customer service?"
I did contact customer service, despite the fact the product was < 1 month old and it should be sorted out by the seller really, but so far, I have had no response to 5 or 6 emails I have sent them.
Now, the guy from Date Vape is not replying to emails either.
So, just a word of warning guys, if you can avoid buying anything from this seller as if anything goes wrong with your purchase, you won't be getting any support from them!
