Thought it was unprotected for vv/vw and protected for mechs ? Can u explain for me mate plz

Icr or lithium cobalt batteries are protected because there's more chance of em going hooey whereas unprotected imr's use new safer lithium manganese safer chemistry if you're worried buy imr and a safety fuse bud the normal icr u get won't fire under an ohm whereas the efest purples are safe to 0.5 ohms as they can take a 10 amp draw

Yeah mate if u wanna subohm under 0.5 though get some 18650 efest purple that can take 35amps
