Derringer top caps.

Just picked up a kit. Not sure why I bought it. I've always been happy with a stainless one. Spare pennies in PayPal and a open Fasttech page I guess
Anyone used the plastic caps. The Derringer does get hot. Are the caps really that heat resistant?

i use the plastic one as that's what my clone come with.

takes the heat well, gets warm but not hot.
