The backstory: Back when Digbys first started I bought a bottle of Mums Custard which I found tasteless. I mentioned this in another thread recently and Sam from Digbys sent me a PM asking for my address so he could send me some more. To my surprise, he sent 12 bottles which made up pretty much their entire range. However, what follows are my own opinions and not influenced by the vendor or POTV. Luckily they came on a slow work day so i've been going through these one by one pretty much all day and here are my thoughts on them…...Ready?

Go!…….

DMC
: At 80% VG this is the dripping version of Digbys Mums Custard. As soon as I opened the bottle I knew this was more like it. The 'bad' bottle I had previously purchased didn't smell anything like this (or of anything at all for that matter). This I like. A lot. So much so that I have gotten through a half bottle today and kept it going even while sampling the other flavours. A wonderful custard.

The King
: This is Peanut Butter, Banana and Cream. When I smelled it, all I got was the 'nana, so vaping it was a surprise. Some peanut butter juices are harsh, but the cream rounds this out nicely and its all rather nicely balanced with the 'nana nowhere near as prominent as I thought it would be. A nice smooth peanut butter on the inhale with the 'nana dancing alongside it on the exhale.

Apple & Cinnamon Pudding:
This also has Custard in it and I found this to be a very moreish, comforting and satisfying vape. All the ingredients come together in perfect harmony, with the apple and cinnamon done very very well indeed. I liked this a lot.

Dr Jekyll:
Anise. I did try it but Yuk! I'm sure fans of the flavour would like this but I dont like the stuff at all so I couldn''t possibly be fair to it.

Hooligan
: Cherry, Lemon, Oranges and Limes combined with a bit of fizz. This was pleasant enough I couldn't really pick out the flavours individually, perhaps the Lemon a bit more than anything else but nevertheless they all combined well enough and although I thought it was nice, it wasn't like 'wow' nice. I'm not really into fruity combos.

Gunpowder
: Anise again so once more, I couldn't give this a fair review.

Oriental Plunder
: American Tobaccos, crisp green and red apples fused with fresh ginger. This was surprisingly nice, the apples and ginger combined well, with a little tartness and sweetness at the same time. As I vape predominantly dessert/custard type juices this made for a nice refreshing change.

Moriya's Mix
: Eucalyptus and cool menthol. Wow! This one blew me away. If you use Menthol to freshen your palate, you simply HAVE to buy this! I've never tasted anything like it. Not only did I find this cleansing my palate, but it tasted nice to boot! And that 'clean' feeling lingered long after i'd had a toke. If you suffer from vapers tongue or want to refresh your palate, buy this, it gives your tastebuds a clean slate! Three thumbs up!

So there it is. I have changed my opinion on Digby's Mums Custard and discovered some really nice juices to boot. It must have been a rogue bottle or whatever and i'd like to give a great big thank you to Sam from Digby's who in my opinion went above and beyond what could reasonably be expected in an effort to make things right. Having gone through these I will certainly be back for more. Of some of them :D

I have had to listen to some crap from you over the months but this time you have really excelled :( Some respectful feedback there and top marks to Sam.I think I may have to order a drop of the DMC and give it a bit of a bash,as much as I like my custards I have up til now only ever bought for the tanks and not even considered a version for dripping with.

I've got a juice called 'El Cadejo' coming from Digbys today which is 90% VG made especially for drippers. The flavour sounded unique and appealed to me…...Sweet Nopales (cactus pads) with mexican berries dominate the flavour but are complimented with a little tingle. We'll see. Not that I have any idea what a fucking Cactus Pad tastes like.

Oh and I paid for it. I mention this because I was told that Digbys received three or four calls within two hours of my review being posted saying 'My juice tastes bland'. Talk about taking the piss. And taking advantage. Pathetic examples of humanity.

.

Nor do I, but I know a prize prick when I come across one :D Andalei! Andalei! Andalei!

Keep us updated.

I've reviewed a number of 'exotic' juices over the last few weeks, Subtank this, Arctic that, sub ohm and rassclat flavour and today, after allowing it to steep for a week or so, I slung some Digby's Mums Custard into the Heron and its every bit as good as anything else, wether branded to the hilt, priced to cater for the fruitcake market (me) or whatever.

A really, really enjoyable juice. I think (for me anyway) the secret is to have a tankfull, maybe a bit more and them move to something else. Not quite a case of 'familiarity breeds contempt' but you get my drift……..A change is as good as a rest, a wank in the bushes will get you 200 hours community service and other ancient chinese proverbs……:D
