Hey guys im in the process of getting supplies together for a diy box mod using the sx350 chip. Got everything but the fuses. Everywhere i look its half and half on whether a fuse is actually needed with that chip as it has protection itself so im wondering if anyone can clear this up for me. If i do need fuses for it if you can link me to a good site for them that would be great. Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly fuses are not needed to protect the chip, but if your not running protected battery it would be a good idea to a use a fuse to protect the batt. or fuse it so you can use either battery.

From what I can tell, fuses aren't needed.

See this diagram: Wiring Diagram For The SX350
You can swap the black wire for reverse polarity protection so I'm guessing a bit here but I think that will protect the chip.
I was just going to wire it up standard myself but have yet to build an sx350.
Let us know how you get on.

I'm gonna be using dual 1200mah lipo's if that changes the fuse answer which now that i think about it it probably wont lol. I'll be posting pics up once i get it done.
