I was thinking of buying a 3D printed squonker and then I thought, I can make my own so I did. It's a simple mech, wood with stainless steel panels (i found magnetic ss) using the mod maker 510 and bottle. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and am very pleased.
Some pics are included in case anyone gets the urge to make one.

Very nice, like the steel doors too, look very tidy and well fitted

I want to make a wood squonk soon, been practicing on cheap resin mechs from fasttech by making contacts in silver and tapping the 510s upto MM510s

Well done buddy! How does it feel to vape on something you made yourself? did you buy all components or reused wood and the panels? Very neat! :2thumbsup::clapping:

Nice work mate. I too fancy a dabble, since I recently blew the dust off my Dremmel. Just need the time (and skill) now. :)

I used a Dremel to cut the hole in the ss panel and then filed it out. The wood was 25mm wide by 2.5 mm thick (sold on eBay for dolls houses} I just cut one of them with a Stanley knife (recess for the panels 1.8mm) and glued them together and cut mitre joints. I was going to use copper but went for brushed ss as I found some on eBay that would stick to magnets and it was only about £2.50 for a 15 x 15 cm sheet (0.9mm thick).
