I have got a dna30 on the way , will be here tomorrow but what I would like to know is what your thoughts on a 26650 battery for it.
it will be most probably going in a wooden mod but that is still to be decided

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Planet of the Vapes mobile app

AW IMR 18650 or sony VTC4 18650 are recommended batts by Evolv I believe....Sony to go up to 30W as it can handle up to 30 amps discharge.

Edit sorry reread your post, 26650 not familiar with a mod that size.

MNKE do 26650's which are able to handle high outputs(saw them used on a german review of the Dreadnaught Hybrid)

You only need a seven amp 4.2v cell. Im not aware of a 26650 cell that cant do that, however your getting bulky. Personally I would look at using a 4.2v lipo pack and getting a 1a usb charging board fron stealth vape, much more compact abd much much higher current capability than any round cell and higher capacity to boot.

If you insist on 26650 cells, king kongs are pretty good and available as inr cells (I know, its a printing error) from www.intloutdoor.com. they have 4000mah capacity and will do seven amps, as I say though, for me lipo packs are a better option for you, using vtc4's is over kill, there are plenty of cells that will do the required current and you could always use a few in parrallel to increase capacity.

Four panasonic 18650 pd cells would give you the required current and give you 11600mah capacity....
