I am wondering do UK customs stop batteries (18650/21700) from entering the country.
I order mine back in October from aliexpreas. The reviews where good, and it was from the official site. They where litokala. I have a charge of threes which I'm very happy with. So I just wanted to know any one else experience?

I believe some Chinese retailers will not use air freight for l-ion batteries. I expect they are being slow-boated..

Litokala don not manufacture batteries - they just buy mystery cells and re-wrap them. If the good reviews were from Litokala's site they are meaningless, but I would trust as review if it was by battery Mooch.

If you're buying batteries it isn't worth risking buying ffom China IMO, they may be reasonably priced but there is a high possibility they are junk. I'd buy from a dedicated battery supplier like Fogstar.co.uk. Batteries are probably the cheapest bit of vape gear you will buy, its not worth saving a £1 at the risk of buying crap.

Well I never knew they didn't. I knew they did charges and I read many reviews on aliexpreas. I know that doesn't mean anything. But I took the plunge with these reviews the photos age even a person who measure capacity of each cell.
I know some of the companies on aliexpreas. Use pony express for shipping. But these where order back in mid October. So I thought perhaps custom had stop them.

Probably on a slow boat and as we're no longer in EU land, it's not unheard of for their to be detours.

Also something I learned long ago is never to order batteries or eliquid from China.

some things i scrimp save & on but batteries not a chance, rather just buy from uk trusted vendors..

no, customs don’t stop them but they need to have a certificate declaring batteries in the package. agree with others that it’s not the greatest idea though.

Just buy from Fogstar. They are legit and uk based with 20% to POTV members. WIN WIN :)

Well like i aaid i bought them in a flash deal for ten 18650 cells. So ive been playing the waiting game. I actually b purchased 2 mods about three weeks later. They turn up within ten days. I think they are proudly the best mood i had top date( now im tempting fate).. But my reason forforeing them is pretty obvious. A 18650 cell cost at least two half times the price here in the uk. Just like the mod i purcuasef foa £44 (was a kit vapefly kriemhild).

Thats cool, but is it the battery you ordered and not just rewrapped. "I would not like to take my chance with my face or leg or hands myself. But for a few quid its up to you. This is not a dig tho!

I order 10*18650 cells from littokala official store. On a flash sale on aliexpress. I know sellers can be well dodge on there. But, i think if you look on reviews, i know some can be fake, but other members have posted photos and screen shots of the cells and the charged capacity. What more can you do?
Any product might have issues, and if we want to check things out we head over to trustplot to see the reputation of he company selling the product. Reviews are best thing we have, if we are not in the know personally.
I am no expert, and I am going off logical sense.
