Do different batteries produce better vapes?

So far I've only used my ego batteries and have yet to upgrade to anything shiny (battery wise) but I've watched a few videos on youtube with some amazing vapours and wondered if it's down to the tank/clearo etc (daft as it may sound I'm not even sure of the difference of those either) or the batteries used. Or if it's a bit of both? I've got mostly basic clearomizers and one iclear30 I got as a gift. I can tell the difference between the iclear and the others but wondered if it would be even better on a stronger(?) battery?

My OH has an evod, which seems to be a stronger vape even though the coil had the same resistance when we looked. I had thought it might be a different one at first.

You can get Variable Voltage (VV) batteries that essentially allow you to increase/decrease the power to the coil - very handy as you may find some juices vape better at different voltages than others. I wonder if your OH's battery had more charge than yours when you compared them, but it's possible his evod is a better quality battery than your evo - a good comparison would be to fully charge both and then try them with the same clearo and juice :)

Im not really in the know only having used an ego and an taste v3 which is vv/vw. But i think its a bit of everything. I didn't notice much of a difference using the bought coils/heads between the two, i found if i upped the v/w to much it just brn my juice/wick. so stayed at roughly the same settings. When I started rebuilding my heads i noticed a large difference.
I switched to cotton, actually upped the ohm on my heads from 2ohm to 2.2-2.4ohm and upped to 8w and the vapour is a lot better.

I think airflow also helps hence why the evods work well as they have good airflow.

Liquid also plays a part, higher VG will produce more vapour

It all depends on the resistance of the coil in your clearo. If it is more than 1.8 ohms you will get a better vape from more volts from a variable voltage battery/device.

I think a vv battery will be next on my list....if I can stop compulsively buying juices long enough to have the money to pay for one... :D Thanks everyone.

Deffo invest in an ego Spinner. I just got my first one and Ive been vaping for 2 yrs :P its simple not as big as my mech mods so its great to just grab and vape!

Is there a general rule to this? Because I'm using standard batteries and fruit flavours taste of nothing but deserts are beautiful. Would a vv fix this?

Same here, from what I've read on here and elsewhere that is the norm for evods. i.e. muted with general flavours but vanilla custard etc comes out lovely. Cotton wool in the coil does help a lot though, with vapour and taste, currently vaping Krankberry and its very moreish

I'm on an MVP2 vv/vw and everything tastes great!
