Do different brands of mod affect flavor or vapor?

I'm a beginner at vaping and currently have the Aegis Legend with pre-made coils bought from an online store. I've once tried a Pulse X by Vandy Vapes running single coil and it tasted A LOT better than mine even when using the same juice. He was using an RDA (Which I assume is the included one in the Pulse X Kit) and I am using the Pyro V3 RDTA by Vandy Vapes. Am I doing something wrong?

In its most basic form a mod is a power supply to your coil. Different brands of mods won't affect your flavour or vapour , it's how you use them.

All coils and tanks will have a sweet spot and so will you. A Pulse X with a single coil will perform differently in all ways with different coils. So take a 0.5 coil and vape at 20 watts , it works ,but at 30 watts might be better. Its not the mod its the coil and what power you are using to make it sing.

I see... will the type of coil help, too? Like if it's Alien or Clapton?

There's a lot to learn here. If your going to vape start off easy . You tube is your friend. I cant even begin to explain what your path maybe ,but POTV has all the help you will ever need so look in the beginners section and go from there. You will be in very good hands.

All the people I've encountered here are such kind lads. Will do! Thank you!

As @tony68 has said, the mod is the power house, most are adjustable to find your sweet spot. It's the coils and tank that dictate the flavour and vapour, each tank is slightly different and each coil in that tank will be different too.

Most new vapers start on sub ohm or MTL stock tanks and coils then move up to the rebuildable tanks. I think i was vaping 5 or 6 weeks before i even thought of building my own but like already said you won't have to look hard to find help. Most Apes will have or will have used the Tank you are using so getting help with builds won't be hard. and don't give up at the first hurdle, if your tanks leak or give you dry hits don't give up on it as there will probably be an easy answer to whatever your problem is. Just Remember no question is stupid so just ask if your stuck.

Yeah I'll be honest, I keep on getting dry hits and it's kinda discouraging me on continuing my variable mod. I currently own a pod device that pampers me. Although the flavor and vapor is lacking

Post a picture of your build @Steratul and someone will more than likely pop up with some advice to help you. and keep trying, everyone has at least 1 failure when starting out. I myself generally get it right the 1st time then screw it up after that lol. it's all a learning curve just like any hobby.
