double coiling and battery life

Hi I have just double coiled a steam turbine ,on a nemesis,
I used to just use one ss wick,but when it got carbon d up and went a bit iffy,I used silica wrapped in ss,and connected two wicks.and coils.
Its okay, I thought it would create twice as much vapor,its a bit more but not much.
I am more concerned about the battery ,after a few pulls the atty is getting hot,and with two coils its going to half the battery life.
Probably better to go back to one ss wick,[and stop messing about with things]

It's funny coz when I did dual coils I found the battery not to last as long however if I twist 2 pieces of kanthal together the battery seems to last longer.

cheers Clint I have now gone back to single coil,I think with most of the ss coils I made ,I rolled the ss to tight.
But with this steam turbine ,the holes for the wick are pretty small,just done another wick and it seams okay,
