anyone use or used drippers?
just wondering whats the advantage of using one if there is one?
i understand they produce better flavour...not sure exactly how but thats about all i know about them lol
i have one on the way should be here in the morning so be fun to try it out

What dripper have you got coming? As there are a lot of us using different types.

I like using drippers for great flavour, testing juices and the odd bit of cloud chasing but more so for the different coil combinations.

Have you got a meter or way of checking your coils ie: ohms ?

its a IGO-L was looking at the w3 but id prob never use 4 coils on it lol so the IGO-L seemed ideal and i got it on a different forum for a very good price and they threw in drip tip, bit of wire and mesh etc so i can use it right away too. i have a vamo to check coils on and a multimeter somewhere around here lol but mainly use the vamo

Igo's are good stuff - the advaantage of a dripper is the flavour hit you get its so fresh and you have the option to make clouds

yeah they seem to best of both worlds, could i make clouds on the vamo with it though as vamo i think only goes to 1.5ohm at the lowest...possibly 1.3ohm, i did see a guy on youtube making clouds with a vamo and a igo-l i think he had 1.8 or 2ohm coil on it

Idealy a mech mod would be better for clouds but you should be able to get half reasonable clouds if you coil up to 1.3ohms. Enjoy :O

Sent from somewhere in cloudy Kent

yeah il be getting a mech mod soon, sure a guy on ebay had the vamo and igo-l but im sure he had 2ohm coil guess he used a tonne of cotton and dual coils or something on it. cant wait to see the difference between my normal atty and the dripper im all about flavour and lots of vapour so should be great

You'll get a reasonable cloud from a Vamo, but huge clouds require lots of heat + lots of air and a degree of "balancing" of the 2 so you get the juice turned into vapour but not so it arrives in your mouth whilst still boiling, hence the air.

ah yeah i remember now you said that he drilled out the airholes to 2mm on the igo

i used to think it was all hype about the flavour being better in a dripper, since getting it i now understand, its like night and day, the same juices in a clearo were dull and lacking in body and flavour, with the Omega im using an a 1.3ohm single coil with twisted 28g kanthal and a cotton wick the flavour is immense and vapur production is better(clouds lol). plus i have been able to lower my juice's nic content as it seems to deliver the nic better. its definetly worth a try if you want flavour, just make sure that you work within the parameters of your device.
