Dual Battery Question?

Not that I am daft or anything....*looks about sheepishly* but I all ready know its not cool to mix old batts with new batts in things like your remotes or uncharged and a charged one, but say... IF it ever came down to it, would it be thick skulled of me to use a Senybor 18650 AND an AW IMR 18650 fully charged and in the same mod?

ooh battery expert needed but personally use the same batts in twin batt mods and charge them together too in pairs

Agreed - twin batts on same charge cycles. Also aren't you mixing two different chemistry batteries there? IMR are high drain and the Li-ion Senybors aren't, so would have thought you might stress the non-high drain and shorten its life span. May be wrong and I am sure someone who knows more about batteries than me will chip in...

My senybors are 5.7 amp drainage I believe. I havent actually done it yet, I think I need to order a few more AWIMR 18650s as my Senybors are looking the worse for wear!

If they are broadly of the same vintage and power - I can't see you'd hae a problem. If there's a huge disparity, the weaker battery will get hammered and die at an accelerated rate.

thats what I thought the SB's are BEASTS 2800 and i get well into 4 days worth of use out of them... looks like ill be ordering some IMRs this week!

I believe AW's can discharge at a max of 10A.

Links to other forums where we could be perceived as "stealing their information" is a touchy subject best avoided when it comes to other....vaping related forums, since we pretty much have our own identity now in the vaping world...we don't want to step on toes. It was a sore subject when UKV went down and our forum was still just a temporary measure.
