Hi,

So a person i saw had a dual coil build with ohm reading jumping around and some people commented saying its a short and could be because the legs of the two coils are touching in the mounting posts?

Can the wires not touch each other when in the pos and neg posts when screwed down?

Touching positive and negative legs will play havoc with the readings yes.
I always make sure the legs don't cross or touch the atti base either before a reading.
Make sure the coil screws are tight and in contact with the legs to.

Ok, i didnt know this was a problem. I made a 28g twisted dual coil last night on my magma and im not sure if i could get both legs in the positive without them touching as the post holes are to small i would have thought.... any tips on how to go about keeping them apart?

Positive is positive won't matter crossing in the same hole its when the legs touch the negative.

Looks like it's a case of crossed wires here....haha. Anyway as Barracuda said, the positive legs of the same polarity can touch. The issue is if the positive and negative touch

No need to worry about that mate I have a tohb clone and post holes are tiny as long as the only legs touching are the legs going in the same holes you don't have to worry it would only be a problem if a leg that went through the positive first and then touched the negative post that would cause a short or if your coil touched on both posts at the same time that also would cause a short but legs crossing in same post holes no probs at all

Ok yeh this is what i originally thought. Thanks everyone for clearing this up.
