I have only been mixing my own for a few months now so when i get new flavours i like to mix it as a single flavour mix. Just to find out what its like.
I have mixed this at 12% i don't like it as a single flavour .
Any advice on what to mix it with would be grateful .

thank you
rob

i use dulce de leche more as a flavour enhancer. 2-3 % in with some custard or desserts gives a loverly creaminess to it.

add it to some strawberry and cheesecake or fruit and cream mixes as well.
maybe something liek tpa custard at 10%, some vanilla bean or bavarian cream and 1-2% of dulce.
can also go well with coffee based drinks or toffees. mixed mint, old english toffee and dulce de leche to make the toffee extra creamy. a bit of caramel in there too for even more lushness.

DDL is very useful for an addition to custard blends. It does tend to get stronger and stronger with lengthy steeping though, so best used in moderation, say around 2% (+/-). Over do the ddl and the scorched caramel flavour can ruin a potentially good mix.
