Eleaf EC 0.3 ohm coils...burning taste

I have got some Eleaf EC 0.3 ohm coils to use in my Melo 2 tank because I now have a ecig that only has a power mode. I have put one of these coils in my tank, put in 70% vg liquid in the tank and when i take a draw I just get a burning taste.

Could this be because of the tank i'm using even if the coils are compati

did you prime the coil. drop juice on all the cotton holes and down the top of the coil.

what wattage are you using. i always start at least 20w lower than i normally vape at to bed them in. then slowly turn up each puff.

the wattage range should be shown on the side of the coil. ive never used any of those so cant advise much more.

burning taste is youve burnt the coil out so have the wattage too high.

i usually use the 0.3 coils at about 35 - 40 w , what wattage are you using ?
