I thought my battery might be knackered as lights etc wouldn`t work, I cleaned tank out put new coil in and fresh liquid, tried new battery and its still doing the same thing. I did notice however that lights work properly when not attached to either base. I can`t see that there is much to the tank, I haven`t been able to toke all bloomin` day and I`m thoroughly cheesed off, anybody got any idea of what the problem could be please. Also is it possible to get a bad batch of coils although I`ve never had problems before. Thanks in advance

You'll have plenty of suggestions when others read your post. I'm not too knowledgeable on mtl setups. Maybe look at some pod systems

Are you attaching the tank to the t18ii battery or a different mod? If it's the base battery it came with do the lights come on when you charge? Is it only when the tank is screwed on it doesn't?
You can get a bad batch of coils and there isn't much to the tank at all

Thank you for replying, yes I was attaching the tank to a T18ii battery, I have just now put in another fresh coil (what a waste of coil not to mention eliquid) from a different pack which thank God I had and it works! My first toke since yesterday but what the hell makes a bad batch of coils? I`ve never had this problem before, does it mean the whole pack is bad do you think?

I haven`t a clue what mtl means and I know nothing about pod systems, that`s how clueless I really am, because the vape shop is closed I obviously can`t go in there to ask their advice on different products, thanks though

You'd be really unlucky to have an entire pack of coils be bad. Sometimes you get one or 2 but I wouldn't throw the rest out as they may well be alright. It's unfortunate but it happens but I'm glad it's sorted for you.
It depends on budget of course but it's worth considering getting a second device just in case the first one fails for whatever reason, just so you aren't in a situation where you can't vape at all!

just in case.. when adding a new coil, just prime it with a few drops of juice to wet the wick and test fire in your mod to check the coil resistance shows up as expected.. Duff coils when encountered should be eligible for replacement/refund from a reputable supplier,

MTL means Mouth To Lung so you draw the vapour into your mouth then inhale it, like smoking a cigarette. A pod system uses pods which attach, some refillable, some not rather than a tank like the T18. If you search pod vape systems on tinterweb you'll find loads of examples.
