Enhancing Berry Flavours

I'm finding that some vodka in a fruit mix helps lift it a little, between 5 - 10%. Eythol Maltol also helps to lift flat flavours a bit. Try adding a touch of something citrusy to your berries too. Inawera do a great Blackcurrant, to mix at approx 11%, and Bahraini Apple Gold mixed at a mere 2.3% is awesome, and their Lime at 3% ain't half bad neither.

I've ordered up some Ethyl Maltol so will add a bit when it comes. Cheers for the advice.

I watched Lordys YouTube video where he said to whizz the juice with a milk frother. I've got to say he was right. I did this a few times yesterday to my strawberry and it already tastes stronger. I'd thoroughly recommend you get one of these and give it a go. My strawberry is quite a bit better today after doing it yesterday.

I noted Lordy's tip about using a milk frother,I don't possess one but I do have my Dremel-clone & its toolkit had a little brush in it.Bung that in the Dremel, poke brush into juice..result looks like an ice-cream(they froth the liquid to make scooping easier when frozen)that's melted. My kitchen started to smell like someone had smashed a bottle of Pernod(Afro-Dizziac flavour from T-Juice)and it took away the burning TH I'd been getting from the initial sample batch.

Mixed up some white chocolate & summer berries - much nicer than the summer berries on its own

Slight power issue with the dremel me thinks. :-) £3 eBay Chegs. It makes a big difference don't you think?

I think combos cover more of the pallet if you choose flavours that target different areas of the pallet. Liquorice in very small quantities can compliment citrus nicely.

Seedy Sod adding anything to licorice,I love the black rock hard sticks that turn your teeth brown(and your spit/tongue..in fact my whole mouth)& just wish my licorice juice didn't shit up the wicks so fast I need strip & clean the bastard mesh every ml or so.I'm now running it on the dripper & with cotton, the taste is awesome(and the wick changes are sooooooo much easier)

I got some Classikool liquorice concentrate. Man, its so strong its ridiculously good. Anymore than 1% and it blows your pallet through the top of your head!

I got liquorice concentrate from ff. It's convincing liquorice, but I really didn't like it as a vape. I might give it one last chance as a tiny proportion of a blend with other flavours, but I'm not sure it's ever going to make the regular list. And my dripper needed stripping down after using it

But yes, the flavour contrasts work - hence the success of the creamy flavours with the sharper fruits
