Ethyl Maltol

Wanted to sweeten my mixes up a little so reading a few thread I got some Ethyl Maltol from a company called - Vapemeister via ebay a small 10mil bottle but am alittle confused as recipes /threads etc say add just a couple of drops but front of the bottle says add 10% ?
Have i brought a no concentrate version before I start testing it ?
Front of bottle says 99.9% bp/usp/fcc and add to taste approx 10% which seems way above what I have been reading ?
Its this here and thinking I may have got wrong mix as ebay listing says 1 - 2 drops , but bottle says 10% ?
Any help appreciated before I start testing its this stuff here ...

The 10% is the mixture in the bottle you bought; 10% Ethyl Maltol and 90% PG. What you are reading on recipes/threads is correct 1-2 drops per 10ml of juice is all you need.

Well I think I am getting what you say , but on the ebay listing it said just 2 to 3 drops needed are you saying that they have added just 10% of Ethyl Maltol to PG and now I need 10% of it in my mix instead of a few drops as that is what the bottle say add 10% of that to a mix which then pushes my PG up too much , if so their advert (linked) is surely misleading as it requires much more than "just 2 - 3 drops required" now to sweeten which is what they list and surely cannot be both or am I getting confused 10% (bottle instruction) is a hell of a lot more than a few drops (ebay listing instructions)

I agree the bottle does look a little misleading. Basically ethyl maltol is a crystal substance and to get it into your eliquid you first need to dissolve it into PG, so they have taken 1ml of ethyl maltol crystals (10%) and added it to 9ml of PG (90%) to make the solution (100%). From here you just need to add 1-2 drops for your mix. What they are trying to say on the bottle is to add enough to taste (1-2 drops per 10ml of juice) and the solution is 10% ethyl maltol.

If its easier just forget that 10% is mentioned anywhere, only add 1-2 drops or whatever the recipe calls for to your mix.

Cheers mate shot them an email and they confirmed and said it is a label mix up , labels from their other "use 10%" concentrates have been used in error so I shall go by your details and do a few mixes try and sweeten a few up a bit thanks
