I had a lot of issues with this mod. Had to completely give up on Ni and Ti TC, instead I used SS in Ti mode so the last update was a godsend for me.

1.30 also does SS but keeps the old UI.

What issues did you have?

Yep, that's the one I'm using. Not a fan of the new UI.

Basically you'd make a Ti coil, wick and juice and it'd be great until you put the mod down and let it sleep. When you tried to vape again there was basically no vapour.... at all. You'd have to crank it up to near 600f to get anything out of it.

I went on their (JT) forum for support, got ignored, sent 4 emails to support @ JT, got ignored. I eventually got them to at least respond, at which point they said 'Dear Friend, Please only using Ego One tank, many thanks'

I wrote a big long email detailing the exact circumstances of the fault and what I thought the possible causes could be and I felt like that wasn't a great response.

I continued to use SS in Ti mode as that was the only thing that worked and thankfully they released the SS profile which seems to be behaving but I really wouldn't rate their support if anything goes wrong.

@schlinky I didnt have much luck with Ti either, but Ni200 has worked well for me.

Regarding support, i recently noticed tanks that dont sit flush wobble around on the 510, thinking it was a fault, i contacted CS and they sent me a new one. The new one had the same problem and was an earlier hardware revision (1.01 vs 1.03). I emailed them and was told to update the firmware..

Took several emails back an forth to get the YTS they have working there to understand the difference between hardware and software and move forward. Still have no answer or solution to why the 510 wobbles.

I had mine apart a few times over the course of events. I'd imagine it's quite easy to fix a loose 510, you'll see it slides into place. A couple of well placed and gentle taps on the ridges that hold the 510 in place should firm it up.

Surprised they sent you a new one, did you have to pay for return postage?

No, they sent me a pre-paid. Im going to send the replacement back, the screen has a yellow tinge to it, guess thats why it was revised!!

Will pull this one apart after the 90 day warranty ends.

Yeah, they had a lot of HW revisions in a short space of time. There's quite a few people with issues irrespective of HW version so hopefully the next version you get is a good one ;)

Good luck!

Thanks.

I pulled apart the one they sent me, its very easy as you say. No wonder the 510 wobbles, the housing doesnt capture it tightly.

The housing is machined as part of the unit, hard to move. Maybe some epoxy resin will do the job.
