This review is purely my opinion, and no way reflects those held by this website www.planetofthevapes.co.uk

Vendor:- iVapour-elixir
Cost:- £5.95 + postage

Consists of:-
The clearomiser "tank" bottom cap and one 1.8ohm coil head (boxed).

Excludes:-
Spare coil heads (I bought a pack of 5 separately)

Options:
Available in Stainless, Black rubberised, blue or Red.

I was looking for "something" I could stick on the top of my Segelei Zmax that would vape well, have good flavour and wouldn't need to be inverted every 5 minutes, I know there are lots of other options, but (as a newbie) I didn't want to spend much money either.

I watched a couple of video reviews (I love 'em), one from Todd, link here:

and one from The Vapourmists (roadhoguk on here):

Both very useful and informative in their own unique way.

I've been using one of these for a couple of weeks now, so here is my personal opinion:

Good:

I like the loose draw.
Good flavour.
Plenty of vape.
Relatively easy to clean and refill (you need to find somewhere to put the head though - Ejuice dribbles)
Well made - still on the first head.
No leaks.
Value for money.
You can re-build the heads.

Not so good:

The god dam condensation build up in the non removable drip tip.
The non removable drip tip!
You need to find somewhere to put the head when refilling unless you have 2 pairs of hands.
Did I mention the condensation?

Neither here nor there:

I have not been able to get more than 1.8ml in mine as yet (unless I have a duff syringe!)

Possible improvements:

It would be good if you could unscrew the drip tip to blow out the condensation, much better than having to walk about with a pocket full of paper tissues!
It would also be nice if the tank was bigger - but not a deal breaker.

So, would I buy another or reccomend them.............yes!

If anything changes I will add it the this "review" in the future.

Very good and accurate review, evods got to be the best out of the box clero on the market today, I use these all the time when I'm out and about. Let's hope the pro tank from kanger is just as good it if not better :)

I got two of these three weeks ago and is now my preferred unit whilst Iam at work, I find that when the condensation builds up I unscrew it turn it upside down and give it a good blow!

I'll try that, I have one condensated right now as it happens!!

Excellent review Roger. I did a first impressions here http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/f...-Clearomiser-first-impressions?highlight=Evod
I mentioned the condensation there but whilst unsightly I can say its never been a real problem for me though I do tend to give it a good clean with a rolled up tissue corner when I've refilled. Easily the best clearo I've tried.the reason you can't use any other drip tip is that the one that is built in is actually part of the juice chamber. Toby suggested this was to check the juice level when it was low (by tipping it up and see if juice appears at the mouthpiece end)

Hello everyone, I've just registered to this forum to give everyone a little insight on my experience with this clearomizer. Have it for about two weeks now? Three perhaps? Nevertheless, it has been working tremendously well so far. I'm somewhat of a paranoid vapor, meaning I'm scared of leaking issues going through the bottom of the clearo and entering the top head of my eGo Twist battery. For the record, it has NEVER happened (Hallelujah). I tend to tighten the resistance part on the bottom part very flush and it has not dissapointed me! The flavour is superb with basically any e-liquid I put on it. Throat hit is there, plenty of vapour, close to no "gurgling" (if so, I messed up somewhere i guess) and have had no liquid pouring out of the mouth piece so far. My only downside would be the visible condensation from the mouthpiece being transparent and not changeable, but if I can get over it, I guess many can as well :)
Thank you for the youtube reviews, it helped me decide trying this and I am a very happy vaper now! Happy easter as well for those concerned ;)

To add to this, both my Evods are still on their first heads..............3 weeks of use! (although to be fair I do wash the heads under running water every now and again.

Only issues..............the bloody condensation.

I look at this as a positive, with the tip being clear, the condensation is drawn to your attention which invariably leads to increased cleaning out of the tip which has to be good for hygene.

The solid coloured tips mask the fact that they are condensating so attention is not drawn to it and likely to be not cleaned so frequently.

lets face it, the only way to prevent condensation would be to keep the tip at exactly the same temp as the vapour.

Good point, well made!

I've had one for approximately an hour and a half...

Tis awesome! Everything the vapeonly bcc should have been.

Oh for a larger capacity, but a definite step in the right direction.

Kinda makes me want a protank :S
