bought an evod from ebay and love it, however it leaks slightly from the join between the metal base and black rubber tank, its not pouring out but drips slowly out which is annoying, i thought this just might be because its not an official evod and is a knock off.
so i bought another from a different ebay vender but it has the exact same problem, leaking very slowly from the join, which leads me to believe to seal on these when you screw it on isnt up to the job.

would buying from a proper website labelled as an actual kanger evod not just evod solve this issue or do people get along fine with the cheap ones?

by the way for all i could tell the ones off ebay came looking very official, in nice boxes with sealed plastic wrappers around the actual evod. but no kanger logo.

anybody else had this?
any solutions?

most of the stuff from ebay are fakes just like the ones from china

I passed on my evods to another member because I dont like the draw from them but cant remember if there is a little oring around the bottom

Evods are very popular and its no surprise there are a lot of knock offs. I would never buy anything ecig related off eBay personally ( some exceptions eg batteries by 'Torchy'). Use a trusted vendor. Plenty on here :)

Try fiting a new O ring on the base, the existing O ring obviously isn't working.
you can buy them at most hardware stores for a few pounds and if you get an assorted pack it comes in handy as most atomizers and drip tips use O rings.
The other option as mark said is buy from a trusted vendor I have some from myepack.co.uk they cost about £3.50 and I have had no issues with them plus he is a vendor on POTV!

I'd have to echo the 'don't buy from ebay' comments. I run lots of evods and have never had this problem - occasionally I get a leak through the battery connector, but usually when I've run it too low and/or the coil is uber-clogged.....

I use ebay ones with no probs. (lucky me). I would fix it the same way I do my ce5's. One turn of plumbers PTFE thread seal tape, around thread and o-ring. The tapes only a couple of quid from a hardware shop and you get 12m of it.

Looks like the EVOD kit I got from My e packs. I just looked and it is suppose to have an O Ring. Does yours have it?
