Massive difference!

@gravystain @city461 thanks for bringing this to my attention.:)

Yeah, you need 2 to get it flush, coz the mm510 is only 1 mm with the washer, so 2 makes it 2mm and flush, not sure if the batch was dodgy or not, but I think generally the mm510 is better than the fat daddy v4 510...

I've got another MM 510 here but I don't really wanna touch the runt atm. Might have a go at resurrecting the V1 Angk.
thanks for your input bud.

If the runt is performing well then I wouldn't mess with it but good shout on resurrecting the v1, told ya it was a bad idea to torch it....

Hey I have a v1 and wanted to have a go at replacing the 510 and also trying to get some silver contacts. Is this hard and worth the effort ??? @geordie @gravystain

I hevent swapped out the 510 on my v1, it should be pretty simple though. Huge difference between the FDV and MM 510 on my v2, so well worth the effort in my case. Are you unhappy with the hit your v1 gives? If so then it might be worth doing, but having said that my runt has a FDV 510 and its awesome.

I don't have a v1 to advise you how to do it, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be hard to do, and like @geordie said if your unhappy with the performance give it a go, it should improve it, made a massive difference to my v2, but my v2 was really bad when I got it, as for the silver contacts, can't see that making alot of difference, copper conducts well and some of the expensive mech squonkers still use copper for the contacts, it's just with silver ones you don't have to clean them as often as you do the copper ones....also I think to get silver contacts for the v1 you would need to buy some silver sheeting and make the contacts yourself, could get expensive to do depending on the quality of silver you buy...
