I have been getting on fine with my new KFL Lite Plus V2 Clone but yesterday it took a tumble. Ever since although I can see no damage there has been a bit of leakage from where the clear tank meets the metal so I must have cracked it.

Question is if I used the stainless section how do I tell how much to put in? Do you wait until it comes out the filling hole then suck a bit back out? I don't have any measuring bottle etc.

Are there any UK vendors that stock replacement clear sections? I'm assuming Cloud 9 original parts are compatible with a 1:1 clone?

most of the real parts from cloud 9 will fit like the tank section just don`t try the insulators they don`t fit any of my clone kayfuns and the only other way to really know how much is in there is to top fill it but then that`s a bigger pain the ass as you may end up flooding it

Cheers, you can top fill it? Is that by taking the top section off that holds the drip tip? I never thought of that.

I do like the look of the clear section so maybe I'll just order a load from FT ad use the stainless one in the meantime. Cloud 9 price is a bit steep for a small bit of plastic, even if it is an original.

i ordered two of them from ft for £2.58 i think it was posted even though i only needed the one its always worth having spares

I top fill my genuine kfl. Just fill it up, lightly put the top on, tip it upside down and then fully tighten it. Tightening it upside down seems to help the vacuum effect. It does sometimes leak out of the airhole as it is abit of a knack but if you get it right it is the easiest way of doing it :)

Hey, if it's anything like mine you've got a horizontal crack in the plastic between the threads and the window. I hated not having a window so get one ordered and quick ;)

Your options are quick and expensive or slow and cheap, UK or China. Get a single from the UK to keep you going and get a pack of 7 from China on the go too would be my advice.

This is how I fill mine but I also place my thumb over the airhole as I'm filling and release once its upside down and ready to finally tighten. Seems to help with the vacuum and I get no juice through the airhole.
