First attempt making a box mod.

- ModMakerBox 1005024 - Black Anodised Aluminium
- N-Channel Mosfet 195A/40V IRLB3034PBF (15k Resistor)
- Fat Daddy Vapes 510 v4 Low Profile Connector - Short (22mm Cap)
- 3D Printed battery sled
- Mitec 12mm Switch
- 14AWG Solid core tinned copper cable, stranded cable to the 510 pin so the spring moves freely

Turned out nicely and works great. Already planning a DNA200 Mod!
I am used to soldering small electronics and have made a few amps etc ( Electronics by Dean Owen | Photobucket ). in the past which helped as I had most the tools needed to hand.

Very neat, i like it. Dual mosfet a good idea. Where d'you get the sled?

Looks clean as hell that!
Makes my Steak Knife soldering look terrible!

Though, I will admit, it is still holding up! And I still haven't been paid so cant order a new f*cking iron!

Tidy, although can I ask why the decision for the dual 3034? really not needed with that 'fet..

I wondered that. Maybe as a fail safe incase one fails?

Also. I now hate lipo. Was a tad drunk last night. Pulled battery out.. Ripped off the negative leg on the fet. Means a whole new rebuild

Silly boy. You really need a safety adult don't you?

Double 'fet does reduce resistance and heat, but there's not much difference for a 2P box, I'd prob only do sommat like that with a 4S

because I can... ;) I was under the impression that it will lower resistance and be safer on super sub ohm builds as the load is halfed on each mosfet, like running two batteries in parallel.
