Built my first twin coil set up, came out at .96ohms (was aiming for 1ohm), but one coil heats up quicker than the other.

Any tips or advice greatly appreciated?

Nice work, might give that a go myself.

Try firing it up until its red, squeeze it with tweezers once it's hot but not firing, and if that doesn't work, do the same but then fire it up, and when you've let go of the fire button just part your wraps a tiny little bit.

I find it's much easier with nano coils instead of micro coils.

To even it up, pulse till the coils glow and only squeeze the one heating up fastest.

Just keep heating and squeezing the faster coil and they will even up presuming they have the same resistance and coiled evenly

What's the differene between a nano coil to a micro coil? Is it just the diameter? If so, what diameter should I be trying?

Looking at the pictures, one of my coils looks a little distorted compared to the other which looks more even in diameter. Maybe I distorted it when squeezing. I used two panel pins (nails) to wrap around, it could be that these are not precisely made. I possibly need to find something more precise to use.

Yes it's diameter buddy.

For coiling I use blunt syringe needles.

20 guage for nano coils
14 guage for micro coils

I had the same problem, I found screwing down the terminals as tight as I dared evened things up a bit.
