First coil

Hi guys was hoping for some help just built my first coil on my new igo w last night and all seemed to go well whacked it on my evic and came up as 1.9 ohms but was real tight so undid it and screwed it back down then it came up as 3.7 ohms did it again and came up as 4.2 ohms. Is this just my evic being s*** or is it something to do with my coil?

5 wraps of .25 kanthal round 2 mm of voodoo wool.

What you using to measure your reading?

Also add a couple extra wraps to accomodate the lower kanth

My evic should I think about getting an ohm reader or multimeter.

Would that not raise the resistance?

I use ohm meter

0.30 kanth
5 whole wraps round little screwdriver
Brings me around 1.2

Cheers will try that next might get some 3 mm drill bits from work
