Orderd my first diy eliquid mix kit and some concentrates yesterday. Got the pro 2 starter diy kit from cloudvapours and 5 additional flavours from just vape24/7. Flavour wize i got absinyth/blueberry/spearmint/yumberry/black jack/pear drops/fire&ice/koolada/energy drink.
Just looking for tips on steeping, what to get for a cream affect and any way to add a fizz affect to a flavour?
Any and all tips are appreciated and add your own first time mixing experiences all helps thx.

Hello Bud
Sounds like a decent kit with some good flavours. With regards to steeping most fruit flavours are fairly good after a day or two. Creamy, custard and tobacco flavours need between 1 of 2 weeks but again some like them as above. Both methods preferably in a dark place.
You could look at steeping in an ultrasonic cleaner but not tried that myself.
Cream effect try Dulce de Leche or Bavarian Cream or combine both.
For the "fabled" fizz effect try some Sour in the mix.
Best make small 5-10ml samples of mixes at first and Make Notes. That way you have a record of what works and what doesn't.
Lastly enjoy

you wont get snake oil concentrate ( or find a clone of it ( at least not one thats even remotely close ). druide again im not sure you could get a concentrate but i have seen some close attempts at druides which direct from source ( mr lords) its 5 ingrdients. flavour art seems to be the concentrates and you have absinthe, anise and licorice as 3 of them. after that i would guess maybe a sweetner and a menthol or a fruit but not having tasted it in over a year or more i cant recall what it was like.
could be something like horehound in there.
even if you get the right ingredients there still the small matetr of brand and quantities.
very few clones match the original or even come close and it can be a frustrating journey into failure and ending up with a load of crap tasting juices.

best to find something you liek and make your own variant on that and be happy with it rather than spend days banging your head against the wall in frustration trying to clone another juice

O i didnt know you couldnt get them as concentrates. Have to order a few bottles each of them to try then. Supose the playing around with flavours is all part of the appeal :), be alot of wasted product but be fun to find somthing intresting in the pile of rubbish hehe

snake oil is a generic name, there are currently 3 that i know of on the market. seduce juice, tmax and another one, the popular one is tmax.
i met with Simon last monday ) owner and maker of tmax snake oil and though the recipe was never away in any way shape or form, the mehtod in which its mixed ( measure by viscosity for one ) , i dont think any amount of clone attempts or concentrates would come close to replicating it. as far as im aware there are about 9 flavours in tmax snake oil and percentages probably run into 10ths if not 100'ths of a percentage.

tbh for the cost of the clone concentrate you could just by 10ml of the original.

Yeah sounds well complicated haha, im guna order some next week and some druid see what all the hype is about. Any other menthol juices you rate highly?

:D Yep Snake Oil is a tough one to pin down..

I've purposely bought 4 30ml bottles of it at various stages of age (some out of date) in an attempt to try work out exactly what's in it.. I've vaped it before brushing my teeth, straight after, after various kinds of food and drinks, when I've just woken up, after a 12 hour night shift blah blah blah... I've diluted it with varying amounts of pg/vg... All in an attempt to pin down all the flavours..

I think I'm quite close but there's still something missing.

A lot of things can affect the way the finished juice will taste too.. Even the order in which you add the flavours.

Yep it's tricky, I'm having fun experimenting and learning.. And I've got quite a few decent tasting juices from playing with Snake Oil recipes :)
