Just completed my first ever mech squonker and I love it . Bit tatty but it's my first attempt and it was a bit of a rush job just to get it up and running and check dimensions etc . Looking to add a mosfet to my next one and tidy it up using wiring and a fire button instead of solid copper connections . Am I right in thinking that the mosfet modmaker diagram will work just as well with a single battery ?

Thats some beefy looking copper you've used for the contacts

Nice job as well :)2

Looks good mate, im inspired to try that myself.
What you using for a button and is it spring mounted to break the circuit or are you relying on the copper to push away? (if you don't mind me asking)

I like it! I know you said looks tatty but for me adds to charm and makes it unique.

Well done mate.

It's not spring mounted , but the copper is 1mm thick and it's a tight fit around the squonk bottle and battery so it springs back itself . It all comes apart easy to so I can re-tension the copper if needs be

Oh - and ignore the rolling papers in that last pic , my better half is still on the fags , haha

That's absolutely fantastic.
I love it!
Pure functionality.....
..... looks fine too.
Look forward to seeing the refinements on later projects!
