First mixes

Hi all, just made my first two mixes, one is 80/20 other 50/50, fruit mixes. Nic 1.2 .
Anyway they so harsh on my throat, that is almost impossible to vape. Any ideas why, is normal? Steeped them for week, still crap. Used 5% of flavors each, mango, melon, peach. Used online calculator and measure in my.

First thoughts would be 5%mango, it's a very sharp acidic flavour too much maybe.
Take 1/2ml of your mix and put in a fresh bottle and add the same amount of base vg/pg give it a good mix up, is it still rough?

OK I'll try that, what is recommended % for mango? It's sweet mango cap.

Do you MTL or DTL?
When you say nic 1.2 it suggests 1.2% which is 12 mg.
DTL 12mg would be rather harsh.

Also how much and what strength Nic base did you use?

I like cap sweet mango. 5% of it in a mix shouldn't be a problem... [emoji12][emoji106][emoji106]

It strikes me that it is most likely too much nic or too much flavour.
I would double check the nic calculation to make sure you did not get something wrong there, then do the dilution thing sugested by @Unclebilbo

I'm using either cleito or crown 2 dtl, always using 12mg nic. In all of them. Got nicotine from DarkStar which is 72mg vg based. In 30ml of juice on web calculator as stated : Nicotine 5ml, PG 10.5ml, VG 10ml, Flavouring 1.5 ml X 3, 4.5ml total. (which is 5% of each flavor)
Thoughts?!

• Your mix is 50/50, not too bad but your body may not like PG?
• Your strength sounds about right IF you want 12 mg
• 12mg sounds mightly high to me for DTL - some can do I suppose, it is jut not the norm
• Who makes all your flavours? I have no idea on CAP (only one I see mentioned). Perhaps your too high at 5% for total 15% on your brands?

Are you sure you have been DTL'ing DIY or shp bought at 12mg with no issue?

No I meant all my ready made/premium juices are 1.2mg and they fine. If it mtl, then got to be 1.8 ☺. Got similar mix but 80/20 ,still a bit strong....

You are still confused about mg and %
1.2mg is not a normal strength manufacturers make unless you have it made specially for you.
12mg is made which is 1.2%
