First mod build

Hi all I have decided to have a go at building a mod. I'm going to build a variable voltage series box, using a LM2596 step down transformer, with a volt meter. I have ordered most of the parts this weekend from slowtech. As this is my first build has anyone got any good advice for me.

Good luck with it. It's also worth using modmaker and stealthvape too. Not only do they have everything you need, but are both great to deal with and will point in you in the right direction if you have any queries. [emoji106]

The LM2596 is quite restrictive, I think the output is limited to around 2amps. With the wide availability of alternatives that can be had pretty cheap with better spec, might be worth having a look around. Have a peep on modmaker and see if anything takes your fancy/fits your budget. If your confident/competent enough there's no reason you couldn't go for a PWM build, the parts are cheap and there are plenty of diagrams available.
