Fitting a Protank 2...

Hello, if a Protank 2 is an ego/510 thread, why wont it fit onto my Zmax v3 flat top without the Protank's threaded base?. My Mini Protank fits OK though???.

@Trotters As far as I am aware the PT 2 only has 510 connector and mini PT are ego only connectors

Do you mean there's a gap of a few mm? Or does it not screw on at all

It screws on with the base, I mean without base thinking it would be like the mini Protank where it would screw on like an ego base, if that makes any sense?. Hard to explain/describe.

This might help the blue is the ego threading and the red is the 510 threading on the Zmax v3 flat top

Yeah you're right I get it now, I just thought the protank 2(without base) would fit into the "blue" area but obviously not. Thanks for diagrams that helped. Cheers
