Flavour Advice

Hey all,

Last night I mixed 50 ml of one flavour. I was meant to do 5x10ml of different flavours, but forgot this after I mixed a base and added too much of one flavour. So I have been left with 50 ml of the same flavour. And I'm not sure I like it. The mix is....

All flavours from Inewara

12mg
AVG Base Nic = 8.3ml
VG = 30.9ml
Pineapple = 5 ml
Mango = 3.5 ml
Peach = 1 ml
Apricot = 0.5 ml
Etol M = 0.2 ml
Sharp Flavour = 0.5 ml

There is a slight perfume-ish taste to it, and I think its the peach. Anyone have any ideas how I can get rid of it, or should I just let it steep a week and see how it is...... Or will that make it worse?

The flavour is good. Pineapple on the inhale with a hint of mango and a slightly peachy after taste, and that's when I get the ever so slightly perfume-ish taste.

well at least the flavours good...think 'id leave it a week..
your only 1 tiny mistake away from 50ml of unvapable crap.

Or you could take 5ml out and experiment with that ?

I decanted into 10 ml bottles so don't mind experimenting. If steeping doesn't work I might just send it on and see if anyone else likes it. It's not unpleasant, just doesn't suit me.

If it doesn't go to plan, stick a load of Menthol in there and it should be usable. And even if you don't fancy it now you may in a few weeks.

I'm not overly keen on menthol. Feels like I'm vaping fresh air. Tried a few when I first started out and they just aren't for me.

As it appears to be all VG (except the flavouring) a good steep will be required 10 - 12 days min however failing that a few drops of mts vape wizard(fa) could help but as there already ethyl maltol in there you may not need it. You can speed this up by a hot water bath to balance out the flavour

Not bad ideas. I though fruit flavours would be ok after a few days steeping. I will give them a water bath tonight and confine them to the wardrobe for a couple of weeks.

If I have nothing by then I will just see if anyone else wants to have a go with them.

I have one mix (my first ever) that I really like that's steeped enough now, and some Tropical space pirate that's a week old I can be going on with.

I might get something like the malted milk if no one wants to take them off my hands.

i just got some sweet watermelon and apple to go with the ripe strawberry and raspberry i had already.

That was my intention before I stuck all of the pineapple into the base I made. It's not so much the liquid I'm bothered about, but the bottles. I have no empties left
