Hello my fellow vapers today we have a kit from @freemax , The Galex Nano. This was very kindly sent to me from Freemax

As always this review is my own thoughts and not associated with anyone from Freemax or POTV. Nor have I been paid for my thoughts.

Abit about the kit....

The 2 newest kits released by Freemax are part of there new Galex range of kits. They have Interchangeable pods, led light system and have 2 coils avaible both of which come with the kits. They're both available in numerous colours and I recieved the Blue Variant to review.

Mod....

For a small little square shaped pod device, this has got a decent weight to it. Straight away it feels sturdy and well built even for the small thing it is.

Also your realise how simply and little there is to it, with just a small cut out showing the circuit board with led lights around and a single small button on the side which is set in an indent meaning you can't particularly accidently press the button in pocket to change the lights.

The kit has a built in 800MaH battery charged via type C, meaning it easily lasts all day when vaping and a simple click of the button shows you via the led lights how much battery is left.

Green 100-70%

Blue 70-35%

Red 35-0%

The button combinations for this device, tell you the battery level, voltage output, light indication and device on and off. The combinations for these are:

• 5 x clicks on and off
• 2x clicks cycle through the lights, single colours, Multicolour & off
• 3x clicks changes the voltage output the device fires at:

Green 4.2V

Blue 3.5V

Red 3.3V

The wattage output for this device is between 11 and 22W.

On the bottom you have the type C charging port and on top you have you connection for the pod and space to fit a lanyard if that's your thing.

Unfortunately there's no airflow adjustment on this pod which I personally would have liked to have seen to give it a slightly tighter draw.

Coils....

The kit comes with 2 coils a 0.8ohm and 1ohm and these are from the new GX range both include Freemax SaltCoilTech 4.0 technology – SS904L mesh.

The 0.8ohm is built for RDL vaping whilst the 1ohm is marketed as the MTL coil.

Freemax say these coils should last around 10 refills each which would be quite decent going but that purely depends on the juice you use in them. As my first 1ohm coil Started to lose flavour after around 5 refills but with a much sweeter juice than I normally use. However my 0.8 coil is onto its 9th refill and still tastes the same as when I put it in.

Both of these coils are capable of a mtl vape with the 0.8ohm being very loose I felt trying to RDL the vape didn't really work but as a mtl it will suit some people's needs. The flavour was very good with a nice warmth to it and for a small pod kit it produced quite a decent amount of vapour.

For me personally the 1ohm coil was what I enjoyed the most, although not as tight as I would have liked the flavour and Vape I got from it was very good with the flavour very prominent and bold, giving a very good MTL.

I used both coils on the green setting for the highest voltage output as I felt it gave the best vape for flavour and power.

Pod....

Included in these kits is freemaxs new GX pod, made from a clear plastic meaning you can see your juice level easily.

The top part is a duck beak style drip tip, which you snap on and off to refill.

The coils simply push fit into the bottom and fit in very tightly meaning there's not any room for leaking.

So far in my testing I've had no leaks from this pod even with it sitting in the device over night which is very good.

I have however found removing the drip tip easier to do, whilst the pod is in the device otherwise it can be abit more difficult.

Pros and Niggles...

Pros...

• Solid and well built
• Great flavour
• Option to turn lights off
• Changeable coils
• Interchangeable pods
• No leaking

Niggles...

• No adjustable airflow

Overall thoughts...

Overall for a compact, easy to use pod system this is brilliant. The flavour from coils as always with freemax is brilliant. The led lights although not to everyone's taste give it something different and you can turn them off if you wanted too.

Its easy to fill, change coils and the pods are Interchangeable between the nano and the standard galex.

I would have liked to have seen an adjustable airflow option, either by a switch or even rotation of the pod to give it the ability to give a tighter mtl draw but alot of mtl users will think this is a fantastic bit of kit.

Once again a massive thank you to freemax for sending me this device to review and thank you all for reading my freemax galex review which is the other in this range will be up this evening.

Cheers Sam. Shame about the airflow. Looks like they could have nailed it if it was adjustable.
