i all, i was wondering if the furyan is suitble as first mech squonk, or you have a different suggestion?

I have the Furyan, and I think it's pretty good, though not perfect. I wouldn't personally recommend it as your first mech squonker though, mainly because it's a little fiddly to maintain the innards. Most mechs require some sort or internal cleaning from time to time, and the Furyan has a few small parts e.g. 2 very small springs that could easily get lost or damaged. It also requires careful reassembly, but if I can do it then anybody can.

If you're reasonably confident then go for it. It's a decent looking mod, and works a treat with decent 21700's.

So is a pain to clean? And also I'm planning to use it with 18650 so what could be an alternative?

Pico squeeze, cheap as chips and some protection or a wismec luxotic, newer but pretty much the same bar price.

to be honest you put me off a bit
Sorry, it wasn't intentional. I just want you to be aware that there are less fiddly one out there. Basic ones like the Athena, ram, etc. are ok for beginners, or there are plenty of slightly higher range ones like the Runt mini or stabwood ones. The Athena gets my vote for a starter mech squonk mod. Easy to clean the contacts, and reliable. I've seen the new SS Furyan on FT, for $58 with the MAP code. I'm tempted but have to watch the pennies.

In my few minutes with it.

1. It’s fiddly.
2. Brass tarnishes, the panel doesn’t and ends up looking shit cheap. Having it plated makes absolutely no sense.
3. Err, that’s it for the moment.
