Hello all I am new to vaping. My first vape was a vaporesso xros and I love it and still use it. I upgraded to the geek vape aegis legend kit with the zues tank. I am getting some dryish hits with a full tank until the juice gets flowing then it is good. Anyone have this issue? It is not a new coil nor is it old so I am a little confused as to why it is hitting dry. I am only running around 45watts.

Hi and welcome to the planet.
what ratio juice are you using as 70vg is best. 80vg may be too thick and give dry hits where the coil cant soak up the juice quick enough. im using the KA1 0.2ohm coil at 60watts and never had a dry hit yet.
always prime the coil first by dripping juice on all the cotton then start low. i always say start at half of what your final wattage will be so i start at 25watts for first few puffs then turn up a few watts each time.

I am using 70vg as well. Maybe I just need to turn it down when I haven't hit if for a while and turn it back up after a few hits. Thanks for the info!
