The misses is using the Cerberus tank with these coils at work but have a question about them if anyone has used both for a while.

She vapes between 45-50w and currently using the X1 coil which is 0.2 30-90w but best at 60-80w so she vapes below the ‘best’ range.

The X2 is 0.3 30-45w but best at 35-40w so she would be above the ‘best’ range if she used at 45w.

Is the best range to be taken in to consideration? Would she be better off using the X2 at 45w or the X1 at 45-50w? Just wondering how it would effect flavour (not clouds).

Might be a case of buying a pack of X2’s but don’t want to waste money if the X1 give the same flavour.

Hi mate. Have not tried the X1 coils but have used the X2's and found them very underwhelming and were more like using old type coils from a couple of years back. I thought they were hopeless to be honest.
Sometimes the rated "best" range doesn't necessarily mean it will be yours, its just a guide really to give you a starting point to go up or down from. I have a Geek Zeus sub ohm tank and use the .4 coils in it. They are rated 60 to 70 watt but to me taste better between 55 to 60.
The Cerberus can take a lot of different coils from other manufacturers like these, Coil Art Mage, Eleaf Ello, IJoy Exo S & X, Joyetech Pro Core Aries, Squid Industry Peacemaker, Vaporesso NRG, Vaptio Frogman, Wotoflow, Smok Baby Beast.
Personally I think you would be very dissapointed with the X2 coils. I was.

X1 do seem ok flavour wise but can try the others mentioned. Which ones though, that’s a decent list lol.

how is the Zeus tank? We did look at that one but was worried about the airflow restriction being at the top.

To be honest I never tried any other coils in the Cerberus.
The Zeus I like. Very nice to use. The top air flow is great, zero chance of any leaks.
Hopefully one of the others here that have used coils on the list will chime in with which is the best.
Which as I typed this Mr Cloud just has

I was a little disappointed with the 0.3 coils too, flavour never seems great in them. They last a while but I almost felt I was wasting juice in them because it ended up tasting of nothing after maybe two tankfulls. Annoying because I've got two packs of the buggers lol, I'm hoping to find a juice that they work with, but might be a lost cause if others are saying there shite too.

I don't mind the x1 coils at about 53 Watts, they actually have quite nice rich flavour IMO.

Interesting to see other coils fit, I might give those vaperesso ones a try, thanks @BigCloud and @Tazz
