Some of you may/may not be aware of the global forum on nicotine that has just taken place in Warsaw.

This clip is from one of the presentations, Dr Attilla Danko, the video is a bit rickety at the start but bear with it.. He describes what's happening in Australia and it's quite shocking. He absolutely shatters some of the recent media stories and myths, -but more to the point it really is a rousing towards the end. .... I have a dream kinda thing....

Definately worth a watch ( it's about 15 mins long though so allow yourself time) :)

Actually, I agree with him about the approach that's needed with Public Health and Tobacco Control ... be patient rather than aggressive, persuade rather than flame them in social media etc.
I don't like rabble rousing, I don't like evangelists or zealots ... all they actually achieve is to polarise the debate ... and yet activism tends to attract some of these characters. Keep the men out of it, leave it to the gentle folk. :)
