It was a tough decision but we have decided to no longer restock Efest, as we feel the Efest brand doesn't represent how we feel about battery safety.

We began stocking Efest about 6 months ago when they released their new metallic packaging and they finally listened to customers and importers about the dangers of not listing maximum current discharge, and continuous discharge separately.

Before this, they took the higher max. discharge value and printed it just as 'Discharging current' knowingly or unknowingly. The less educated of us and newer vapers would obviously see it as the continuous rating. However, even this max discharge figure was sometimes just total BS.

Things have slowly got better, however they aren't perfect. And Efest regularly swap and change cells depending on what they can get the cheapest without any warning or notification.

I personally feel our funds can be used elsewhere - like adding our 26650 selection, producing Fogstar cells and generally just expanding the shop, and building on the success of the last 6 months.

I have set up a special offer to several vape shop customers who stock Efest exclusively (They actually exist) and once sold out, they wont return.

Thanks Apes!

I can imagine it was a tough call as we all know that efest tend to be the standard cell for new vapers. Credit for taking that stand though

Its about 25% of our income, which is pretty painful to say goodbye to. But it means I can expand in different ways so its exciting - (And I've seen a new Unit I want :2thumbsup: )

A brave move but one that I fully support. You cannot be too safe when it comes to batteries and Efest are frequently an unknown and therefore, in my opinion, dangerous

Good shout, they have consistently lied about battery specs for years now and happily flood the market with cheap and sometimes unstable cells. Never been a brand I have been fond of.

Good to hear but in the long run I hope you will benefit from this decision...wish more people would take a stand against the twats..

I won't buy efest batteries and think it's good to remove them from your stock

Ethics in the battery business, Right on, Ben!
Now, their chargers seem to be okay these days, you can still sell those or will they shun you now?

Chargers are pretty decent, they won't shun me - I'm too small for them to worry about...yet ;) The new LUC6 is just out now I believe. May look into it
