Goon coils/airflow question

I just received my good this morning but yet to build on it. With my Goon 1.5 I have the coils and airflow set so the air hits the bottom and side of the coil but that is because the 1.5 has wide airflow slot. With the goon it just 3 holes on both sides. What is the best way to position the coils in the goon? or do i just put them in?

Can't say I'm right as I don't get on with them.
I've got 1.5 and L.P. clones and built them both the same as you describe.

suppose I'll experiment. I was just thinking that since the air holes are small then direct onto the coils would maybe be better

Build it the same as the 1.5 [emoji6]

Would still depend on how much air you're able to draw over them and how quickly they're heating up etc.....
I find all coils need a certain amount of air coming from the underside but how much is where the game is.

I'll do a build on it tonight. I swapped the tip that came on it to the bigger one as I dont like the smaller ones.

Yeah the drip tips dog shit I binned mine and I build it then raise the coils up so only half the coil can be seen through the airflow and it works for me [emoji4]

thats how I do my 1.5 hopefully my long claptons will fit, they're 2.5mm with 7 wraps. They fit the 1.5 just.

I prefer 5wraps of framed staple or tricore fused Clapton around a 3mm and it's the best RDA I own but I've had some big 7 to 9 wrap builds in no problems [emoji4]

I usually have 3mm and 6 wrap spaced claptons since i prefer temp mode. Usually have around 0.28 to 0.33. I'll stick em in tonight
