I got some Capella Irish Cream recently and it's ok, but I feel it's lacking something. Not creamy enough, not enough body.

You get the basic 'Irish Cream' flavour but nothing else. What is that flavour by the way? Anyone? Sort of like coconut.

Can't find any recipes on line.

Coconut ;)

Capella is designed for food, so you probably need a sweetener in it... how long have you steeped it?

Is this an Irish Cream Tip ??

Dirt.

It's steeped a week and I've added some sweetener, some EM and a bit of nic just to see if that gives it body.

Ah, capella designed for food. That's why I don't like any of their flavours probably :p

I don't think dirt will work but try a small amount of whiskey concentrate, that'l give it a slight kick.

;)

yeah i'd considered that. It seems though that every time I order juice the vendor doesn't sell any. It's rare for a vendor to sell brandy/cognac/rum flavours. But yeah, might be worth a punt.

There's whiskey (a small amount) in real Baileys and I used to add it to my creamy mixes and it does make the more like an irish cream - just a tiny bit and add to it though. I know what you mean about the 'spirits' but I guess they are hard to replicate - good luck with it anyway.

Mixed 2 10ml up and finished them both, now on a 30ml mix. Can honestly say it's one of my favourites for now. I'm doing it at 20% and 24mg with a weeks steeping. Tbh though, Capella is all I've used for now.
