OK so basically the rules say I can only post in the new users for my first two posts, so eff it here goes.
Been vaping for years but only decided to join POTV today. So I'm not exactly a newbie to vaping.
Um... what to write... Guess I'll go through my vape history.
Started on cigalikes, nicolites was the first one I ever bought. Used greensmoke mostly, also apollo and v2cigs. After a while I decided to upgrade to a vape pen so I bought a V2 Pro Series 3 after reading some reviews. It was a nice little pen, but I still wanted something better - better battery life, more flavour and such. And to be perfectly honest now that I know much more about vaping I think there are other options with good performance that are much cheaper that I'd probably recommend to someone instead of the pro series 3. Couple of friends introduced me to sub ohm, one had an eleaf istick 30w with an innokin isub tank, other had a Sigelei 75w and a tobecco supertank mini.
I did an absolute ton of research online on reviews and such and decided to buy a Wismec RX200 with 6 Samsung 25r and a nitecore d4 and a Uwell Crown, and I abolutely love them - though this set up is a bit big for when I'm out. The RX200 and Crown don't exactly fit in my pocket comfortably. So when ArteryVapour came out with the Nugget mod, I thought I'd get something small, and I don't like the CoV minivolt. At the time no vendors in the UK were selling the Nugget, so I contacted the company directly and bought one from them with the 49er tank. It's a great little mod, fabulously small but battery life is shocking because it's so tiny and only has a little battery, plus the screen is so dim that if it's sunny I can't tell if the thing is on or not and a few times I put it back in my bag without having turned it off which isn't totally safe. So I then also bought an Innokin CoolFire 4 Plus with an Aspire Cleito tank. Pocket size, decent performance, and good battery life for when I'm out and don't want to take a bag.
I still use all three interchangeably.
Also bought a dripper, got myself a Wotofo Troll V2. I'm not great at wrapping coils so I usually buy prebuilt coils and wick them. Currently got dual quad wrapped coils that comes out at about 0.12 ohms, and the flavour and clouds are simply immense.
When I got rid of the vape pen (gave it to a friend) I still had a load of juice left that was 18mg and very quickly learned that vaping this in a sub ohm is a surefire way to get a throbbing headache. I didn't give the friend the liquid because they were using it for the dry herb functionality. We soon learned that it wasn't very good at dry herb, and shortly after it stopped working properly so we just threw it away. So I bought an aspire nautilus mini rather than throw the juice away since no one I knew vapes nic that high to give it to. Now I've vaped through the majority of that high nic liquid, though I still have some liquid that is if I remember correctly 9mg (label fell off), and going to see how this vapes on a 0.8 ohm coil (Anyone have much experience? It seems a bit on the strong side but just about vapable). I usually vape 6mg on 0.25ohm with the crown and 0.4ohm in the cleito, and use 3mg juice on my RDA. Probably going to switch to 3mg on all once I finish my stock of 6mg liquid. FYI to anyone who cares I mix my own liquids, getting supplies from makemyvape.com - some of the flavours aren't great I'll be honest, but there's a few good ones that I've fine tuned to my all day vapes and it's so much cheaper. I can make a 100ml bottle for less than I've bought a 16ml bottle for.
Anyway, point being I don't have much use for the nautilus tank anymore.
So the real reason for me signing up to POTV is to see if anyone is interested in my old Nautilus mini tank instead of putting it on ebay or something. It's in good condition but it'll need new coils, and the spring on the 510 connector is a little rusty but after reading online this seems to be a common occurrence and doesn't seem to affect performance and you should be able to get a replacement from aspire if you want. But I can't just post it in the for sale or even for free, since I have to post here twice first. So here's post one of two til I can post it properly to see if anyone's interested.
To be fair it is suitable for a beginner's tank - so maybe the new users forum is the right place who knows. Anyway if you actually read this far kudos haha. I used to be a blogger and can ramble on a bit.
If you're interested in the tank let me know. I'll probably make some other post and then post it in the right thread.

Bad news for you is you can only sell things in the proper section of the forum and you need 20 posts (I think) to post there.

Welcome to the forum. Good starter post. Sure lots of people will find it useful to read. This forum is a good place for advice on anyone's vape journey but does require a bit of hunting time to find and digest all of it.
20 posts minimum for buying & selling in classifieds section. You'll incur the wrath of the management if you break rules on buying & selling.

Hello @nkitsell ,nice to meet you Mate!!!

20 posts????? WHY?????? What logical justification can there be for requiring that? I'm not even interested in being a member, I just thought this was a less impersonal way of selling than ebay and hopefully without giving ebay and paypal a percentage -___-
We'll I'm not jumping through hoops just to give someone else a better deal. Why should I make more effort for a loss?

Lol, this is going to be interesting and I'm all out of popcorn [emoji31]

I think you've got the wrong end of the stick fella.

POTV is a place where people can come for help and advice, where you can talk to people of like mind with similar interests and discuss all things vaping and more. The classifieds section and indeed the forum as a whole is run and moderated by people who give there own time and I'm sure money in some cases to keep this community up and running for everybody to enjoy. For what it's worth, they do a fantastic job of it as well.

POTV is most certainly not eBay without the fees!

Why don't you contact the admin and ask them to make a special exception for you? I'm sure, given your wealth of vaping experience and kind and warm persona, they'll see you have the potential to be a warm and giving member of the forum and definitely won't want to lose you...

then again, maybe not. :rotflmao:

I believe the 20 post limit is to stop rogue traders coming on here to sell goods which they take the money for and then never deliver. Makes sense

I think the rule is great.. Discourages those coming on here just to sell.. rather than joining in the community.
