Greetings fellow vapers.

my brother bought me a segelei zmax for Christmas and now without even really thinking about giving up I have been off the Rollie's for 7 weeks. I hardly think about smoking anymore. My technique was to to have the vape if I wanted a cigarette and if I still wanted a cigarette after vaping I would allow myself but over 2 weeks I stopped wanting the cigarettes and now just enjoy the vaping.

Then about 3 weeks ago I won a cool fire 2 from spinfuel which was very cool. I quite like this mod although I wouldn't use it in public as it does look like a grenade. however the unit suddenly would not turn off as if the vape button is shorting.the only way to turn it off now is to take the battery out. Just wondering whether anyone else has had the same problems.

have tried emailing innokin in china but no answer yet.

Great forum, have learnt loads. This vaping lark is a whole new hobbie in itself. I do like to tinker!!

Welcome,if you like to tinker you have found the right hobby, well done on giving up the smokes.

:welcome1:

I don't have a cool fire 2 so couldn't offer any thoughts on why it is continuously firing, but thought I would give a little bump in case someone can help :)

welcome to the planet buddy - It's good to tinker - I dont have a cool fire two but had a similar problem with my hammer it turned out the spring was too soft on the button maybe that?

It sounds like it's faulty, contact the supplier and see if they will help (even though it was a prize you'd expect it to work more than a few weeks)...

I took the unit too pieces yesterday and it turns out that juice is getting through the collar just above the wattage selector underneath the 510 connector, there does not seem to be any seal to stop this happening so it was just a matter of time. Juice has got into the press switch and is shorting out from there.

I have left the switch out over night in a warm dry place to see if we cant get it all out and will send an update once it is working again. I also think that I have come up with an answer to seal it perhaps I will post some images once this is done.

Just in case anyone else has the same issues, I was right. Juice had slipped through the top collar and into both the vape button and also had got itself onto the circuit board. You can see the gap underneath the aluminium collar and circuit board on the picture below, be very careful when removing the wattage selector collar as it has a ball bearing on a spring on the inside inline with the vape button that will go ping if you dont take the selector off carefully. Left the Switch over night to dry out and cleaned up the board and we are back up and running again.
